Rugged, vast and pristine

Namibia

See the sun set over Sossusvlei, climb the world’s highest sand dune and experience the vast expanses of the Namibia’s unspoilt wilderness.

Namibia is the fifth largest country in Africa and one of the least densely populated areas on earth. It is about half the size of Alaska.

Famed for its vast open landscapes, endless blue skies, sunny weather and tranquil starry nights, Namibia is well known for its desert habitat. It was also the first country in the world to incorporate environmental protection into its constitution.

Situated between the Namib and the Kalahari deserts, Namibia has the least rainfall in sub-Saharan Africa, making for excellent wildlife viewing at waterholes in the magnificent Etosha National Park, a seasonal wildlife magnet.
